Gay Marriage opinions

Okay, so I know everyone’s been expressing their own opinions on this, but I’m going to share my own. I do not understand why gay marriage is considered “wrong.” What happened to equal rights for all people? Making gay marriage illegal would basically just get rid of this equal right, so what is it that makes it wrong.  Love is something all people experience whether it be same gender or not.  All people should have the right to fall in love and marry whoever they want.  I know a lot of gay/lesbian individuals and they are some of the nicest people I know.  I don’t want to see them being affected negatively like that, whether in the future or the present.  When did being gay even become such a bad thing? All people should be treated as equal no matter who or what they like, and they should, especially, be able to have to right to marry who they want.
